Church Wide Event - April 4th

On March 8, 2025, the Body of Christ gathered in a front yard, in lawn chairs, on Virginia Boulevard, with neighbors to, praise and worship God, share powerful testimonies, feed and be fed, physically and spiritually. Numerous churches were bound together in love as the Body of Christ, sharing the Gospel outside, in the streets of Huntsville. Between 130-150 people were served, fed and blessed. Seeds of faith were sown and lives were changed. The Holy Spirit was present in a mighty way!
And by the power of His Spirit, we are doing it again for the Third Year in a Row. Saturday, April 4th - Shout It Out from the Porch 2026 will once again take place at 2307 Virginia Boulevard. This city and nation are aching for a spiritual revival, and the Church must rise up in love and unity as living testimonies to the world that, Jesus is the only one who saves.
Jesus said: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” - John 13: 34-35. We are inviting you and your church to be apart of this “out of the box” experience of the Church coming together, on common ground, to love one another the way Jesus loves us and celebrate what God has done, generation after generation, what He did by sending Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and to worship Him.
We would love for you to come be a part of this. We are planning to feed 200 people. We will need food, drinks, smiles, love, plates, napkins, and more but more than any of that, your prayers. Please keep this outreach in your personal and congregational prayers. We have a Signup Genius link attached to this letter for more information on what is needed and how to partner with us in providing the needs for this outreach. There are a lot unbelievers who are seeking truth and hope at this time and many of these will not come into a church building. We are called to be the Church, let's all partner together, with God, and be His church, outside of a building, on April 4th of this year but also every day in-between.
This years’ tentative schedule will be as follows:
12:00—Lunch will be served (Pasta, salad and bread)

The first hour we will have local songwriters
take turns sharing songs the Lord has
given them. Testimonies with Rhythm
is what we are calling this portion.

The Village Church is having a children’s activity starting at 10:00am this same day and inviting all to participate. They will be coming over to Shout it Out from the Porch for lunch and fellowship afterwards.
